Of hwy 70 and hwy 48, removed brush and cleared an area for an osprey viewing point on grindstone lake and stained the kids connection play ground. 07. On the blm-rfo fort stanton area we help place new signage around the area and did a little clearing at the lincoln track 3 trail. 08. Usda-fs cedar creek trail workin on turns and berms. We are trying to build up the walls around the turns for the mountain bikes and are having to transport soils and pack them in. 09. Greentree solid waster authority with an electronic recycling event. The event brought in 5.8 tons of waste and year to day our work has assisted in bringing in 12.8 tons of e-waste. 10. Built 1,150 feet of trail behind ruidoso middle school for an active shooter scenario. These trails were planned out with the ruidoso middle schools and ruidoso police department. The purpose was to build a few escape routes in case of a shooter at the middle school. 11. All eco rangers received certification on incident command system (icm) 100,200 and 700 for white mountain search and rescue and began studying for their pack certicication as part of the nm search and rescue counsil. 12. 7 became ham radio certified. 13. Assisted the smokey bear historical park bebuild a playground arch that someone drove a car through in october. 14. Worked with ruidoso middle school in removing display boxes and signage that was rotting away and causing a safety hazard. 15. Finished our work cleaning out a swimming pool built by the historical german interment camp. 16. Redid a brick pathway to remove humps that had developed in it and painted sign and fences. In historic fort stanton we helped remove sticks and branches in the parade grounds. 17. Partnered with the village of ruidoso parks and recreation to improve the grindstone recreation area. Work included removing vegetation for park benches, installing a vault toilet and building a trail. 18. Assisted the local veterans center with removing wreaths from gravesites and assisted the adaptive skiers program in their annual silent auction. 19. In carrizozo, we assisted in settin up shelves and voing furniture to the new public library. In the historic town of lincoln, we cleaned out an old barn behind the dr. Woods display home. 20. Spent about 5 days removing trees that had been blown down over the trails. Work was done in cedar creek, perk canyon and grindstone. 21. Attending the emergency service council annual preparedness event (escape) in las cruces. 22. Osprey viewing area, cleaning planting boxes and installing a park bench at the grindstone lake for the village of ruidoso. We also helped stain the public swimming pool slide for a couple of days. 23. Recycle projects. 24. Various gps projects for training, skill set enhancement and identifying endangered species habitats. 25. Rock armoring on numerous trail systems. 26. Reduce down fuels to reduce wildfire threats. 27. Reduce encroaching trees.

Training. 8. 9 were employed after service with our program. 9. 1 received a ged with high honors and has been chosen as a nm scholastic awardee. Demographics: 25 females, 35 males after project completed: 9 became employed after program, 31 went to secondary/post-secondary education, 2 stayed on for a 2nd year, eco servants successfully awarded through americorps 106,076 in scholarships.

GREENTREE SOLID WASTER AUTHORITY WITH AN ELECTRONIC RECYCLING EVENT. THE EVENT BROUGHT IN 5.8 TONS OF WASTE AND YEAR TO DAY OUR WORK HAS ASSISTED IN BRINGING IN 12.8 TONS OF E-WASTE. 10. BUILT 1,150 FEET OF TRAIL BEHIND RUIDOSO MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR AN ACTIVE SHOOTER SCENARIO. THESE TRAILS WERE PLANNED OUT WITH THE RUIDOSO MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND RUIDOSO POLICE DEPARTMENT. THE PURPOSE WAS TO BUILD A FEW ESCAPE ROUTES IN CASE OF A SHOOTER AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL. 11. ALL ECO RANGERS RECEIVED CERTIFICATION ON INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM (ICM) 100,200 AND 700 FOR WHITE MOUNTAIN SEARCH AND RESCUE AND BEGAN STUDYING FOR THEIR PACK CERTICICATION AS PART OF THE NM SEARCH AND RESCUE COUNSIL. 12. 7 BECAME HAM RADIO CERTIFIED. 13. ASSISTED THE SMOKEY BEAR HISTORICAL PARK BEBUILD A PLAYGROUND ARCH THAT SOMEONE DROVE A CAR THROUGH IN OCTOBER. 14. WORKED WITH RUIDOSO MIDDLE SCHOOL IN REMOVING DISPLAY BOXES AND SIGNAGE THAT WAS ROTTING AWAY AND CAUSING A SAFETY HAZARD. 15. FINISHED OUR WORK CLEANING OUT A SWIMMING POOL BUILT BY THE HISTORICAL GERMAN INTERMENT CAMP. 16. REDID A BRICK PATHWAY TO REMOVE HUMPS THAT HAD DEVELOPED IN IT AND PAINTED SIGN AND FENCES. IN HISTORIC FORT STANTON WE HELPED REMOVE STICKS AND BRANCHES IN THE PARADE GROUNDS. 17. PARTNERED WITH THE VILLAGE OF RUIDOSO PARKS AND RECREATION TO IMPROVE THE GRINDSTONE RECREATION AREA. WORK INCLUDED REMOVING VEGETATION FOR PARK BENCHES, INSTALLING A VAULT TOILET AND BUILDING A TRAIL. 18. ASSISTED THE LOCAL VETERANS CENTER WITH REMOVING WREATHS FROM GRAVESITES AND ASSISTED THE ADAPTIVE SKIERS PROGRAM IN THEIR ANNUAL SILENT AUCTION. 19. IN CARRIZOZO, WE ASSISTED IN SETTIN UP SHELVES AND VOING FURNITURE TO THE NEW PUBLIC LIBRARY. IN THE HISTORIC TOWN OF LINCOLN, WE CLEANED OUT AN OLD BARN BEHIND THE DR. WOODS DISPLAY HOME. 20. SPENT ABOUT 5 DAYS REMOVING TREES THAT HAD BEEN BLOWN DOWN OVER THE TRAILS. WORK WAS DONE IN CEDAR CREEK, PERK CANYON AND GRINDSTONE. 21. ATTENDING THE EMERGENCY SERVICE COUNCIL ANNUAL PREPAREDNESS EVENT (ESCAPE) IN LAS CRUCES. 22. OSPREY VIEWING AREA, CLEANING PLANTING BOXES AND INSTALLING A PARK BENCH AT THE GRINDSTONE LAKE FOR THE VILLAGE OF RUIDOSO. WE ALSO HELPED STAIN THE PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL SLIDE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. 23. RECYCLE PROJECTS. 24. VARIOUS GPS PROJECTS FOR TRAINING, SKILL SET ENHANCEMENT AND IDENTIFYING ENDANGERED SPECIES HABITATS. 25. ROCK ARMORING ON NUMEROUS TRAIL SYSTEMS. 26. REDUCE DOWN FUELS TO REDUCE WILDFIRE THREATS. 27. REDUCE ENCROACHING TREES.
