The organization has had members since inception on june 3, 2003. The members of narp consist of the credit union national association, inc. And the american association of credit union leagues.

The members of the association may appoint committees or groups as needed to carry out the purposes of the association. Such committees or groups shall be under the overall governance, administrative management and direction of the administrative council.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Narp qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code. Management has concluded that narp has properly maintained their exempt status, all revenue within the statement of activities has been properly identified as exempt for the years ended december 31, 2016 and 2015, and there are no uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2016. The federal and state income tax returns of narp for 2013, 2014, and 2015 are subject to examination by the irs and state taxing authorities, generally for three years after they were filed, however, there are currently no examinations being conducted.
