Beverly bootstraps community services provides critical resources to families and individuals so they may achieve self-sufficiency. The organization offers emergency and long-term assistance including: access to food, housing stability, adult and youth education, counseling and advocacy. The organization is community funded and supported.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4C

Literacy, holiday gifts, back to school supplies and summer camp placement. During fy17, 22 children were enrolled in after school homework clubs, 663 children received holiday gifts, 644 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed and 86 children were placed in summer camps. The earned income tax credit (eitc) outreach program provides working low income individuals and families with free tax preparation. During fy17, 231 tax returns were filed resulting in 390,020 refunds to clients; with 211,732 as a direct result of eitc funds. Seasonal programs are also available.

DURING FY17, 1,305 CLIENTS WERE ASSISTED. ADULT EDUCATION INCLUDES HISET TEST PREPARATION, ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES, COMPUTER TRAINING, ADULT LITERACY AND JOB READINESS. DURING FY17, THE AGENCY SERVED 97 HISET STUDENTS,172 ESOL STUDENTS AND 68 COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS STUDENTS. YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES INCLUDE AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK CLUBS, YOUTH LITERACY, HOLIDAY GIFTS, BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND SUMMER CAMP PLACEMENT. DURING FY17, 22 CHILDREN WERE ENROLLED IN AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK CLUBS, 663 CHILDREN RECEIVED HOLIDAY GIFTS, 644 BACKPACKS FILLED WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES WERE DISTRIBUTED AND 86 CHILDREN WERE PLACED IN SUMMER CAMPS. THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT (EITC) OUTREACH PROGRAM PROVIDES WORKING LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH FREE TAX PREPARATION. DURING FY17, 231 TAX RETURNS WERE FILED RESULTING IN 390,020 REFUNDS TO CLIENTS; WITH 211,732 AS A DIRECT RESULT OF EITC FUNDS. SEASONAL PROGRAMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.
