Beverly bootstraps community services provides critical resources to families and individuals so they may achieve self-sufficiency. The organization offers emergency and long-term assistance including: access to food, housing stability, adult and youth education, counseling and advocacy. The organization is community funded and supported.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4C

School homework clubs, youth literacy, holiday gifts, back to school supplies and summer camp placement. During fy18, 22 children were enrolled in after school homework clubs, 676 children received holiday gifts, 669 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed and 119 weeks of summer camps were provided. The earned income tax credit (eitc) outreach program provides working low income individuals and families with free tax preparation. During fy18, 285 tax returns were filed resulting in 544,310 refunds to clients; with 174,401 as a direct result of eitc funds.

DURING FY18, 1,420 CLIENTS WERE ASSISTED. ADULT EDUCATION INCLUDES HISET TEST PREPARATION, ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES, COMPUTER TRAINING, ADULT LITERACY AND JOB READINESS. DURING FY18, THE AGENCY SERVED 106 HISET STUDENTS (OF WHICH 18 GRADUATED), OVER 200 ESOL STUDENTS AND ASSISTED 46 PEOPLE FOR COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS. YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES INCLUDE AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK CLUBS, YOUTH LITERACY, HOLIDAY GIFTS, BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND SUMMER CAMP PLACEMENT. DURING FY18, 22 CHILDREN WERE ENROLLED IN AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK CLUBS, 676 CHILDREN RECEIVED HOLIDAY GIFTS, 669 BACKPACKS FILLED WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES WERE DISTRIBUTED AND 119 WEEKS OF SUMMER CAMPS WERE PROVIDED. THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT (EITC) OUTREACH PROGRAM PROVIDES WORKING LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH FREE TAX PREPARATION. DURING FY18, 285 TAX RETURNS WERE FILED RESULTING IN 544,310 REFUNDS TO CLIENTS; WITH 174,401 AS A DIRECT RESULT OF EITC FUNDS.
