Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Leadership development - through our suite of state-of-the-art programs taught by some of the most accomplished faculty on race, ethnicity, culture, negotiations and innovation we develop professionals of color at every stage of their career. Our programs delivered by expert academicians and business thought leaders are designed for each stage of the career cycle including: early stage, mid-career, executive and c-suite executives. Ceo engagement now, in its third year, the bennie wiley ceo diversity award continued to strengthen ceo engagement by recognizing a ceo whose company excels in diversity and serves as an example for other corporations to follow. Tom glynn of massport was selected as the 2018 awardee, given his visionary approach of ensuring economic parity for people of color engaged in the seaport's omni real estate project. Board member yvonne garcia, chief of staff to state street ceo interviewed tom at our annual meeting. This was quite fitting as jay hooley, now state street chairman was our inaugural honoree. Last year's honoree, chairman of bob rivers chairman & ceo of eastern bank hosted a vip pre-reception. C-suite program -more than 60 corporate and public service members. -2018 forums include: -president david thomas of morehouse college inauguration reception hosted at the boston globe by vinay mehra -"tell them we are rising" screening hosted by wgbh's liz cheng and comcast's steve hackley -the boston globe spotlight team: confronting racism and disparities forum hosted by jfk library and by the boston globe -fenway race dialogue hosted by the boston red sox and sponsored by john hancock insurance and brooks tingle -gov. Charlie baker hosted by dean seavers of national grid -the partnership summer reception -conversation and reception with evp & cdo at cbs corporation, josie thomas hosted by cbs boston -intimate conversation & reception with ann fudge hosted by allen & gerritsen -ceo reception honoring tom glynn hosted by bob rivers of eastern bank mfs agreed to be the 2018 presenting sponsor of the c-suite program. Nge, fellows & associates -nge participation increased 15% to 57 participants over budget. A personal brand session was added. In addition 360 assessments were administered to ensure participants received management and co-worker feedback. Executive coaches were instrumental in guiding participants in this process. -the 220 participant rate of the january class of 2018 fellows & associates remained level with the participation rate of the class of 2017. A latino professor was added as a faculty member to ensure broader ethnic representation of consultants. A digital transformation session has been added and the mentoring and coaching format has been refreshed and is led by a corporate executive coach. In addition, a race dialogue forum has been added. -the biodiversity program is growing and 2019 will be the fourth year of the program with 60 total participants having engaged. Expansion initiatives -in 2018, we received 100k grant from the cummings foundation. We designed the grant request to support non-profit executives of color who received cummings grants. The funds support 10 non-profit leaders to attend our next generation executive program. -the jobboard initiative was created.
