“The full board of directors review form 990 and approves at a regular monthly meeting prior to filing. The Form 990 is also reveiwed for accuracy by an internal staff accountant of the Organization and the Finance Director.”

“Conflict of interest forms are signed by all employees each year. New Board members are provided a WCAP vendor list to review before signing the conflict of interest statement which refers to the conflict of interest policy in bylaws. All Board members now review current vendor list prior to signing new conflict of interest statement annually. No Director may actively participate in the making of a decision by the Board, or vote on any matter, in which he or she has a Transactional Conflict of Interest. New staff orientation includes a conflict of interest statement and it is discussed briefly. Beginning at last Staff Day meeting, all staff had a brief orientation as to the purpose of the conflict of interest statement and signed an "Employee Professional Conduct Commitment" form. Staff leaders are well acquainted with conflict of interest and can advise quickly to staff inquiry. Conflict of interest is also referenced in the Personnel Policy which new staff receive upon hire and all staff receive when there are changes.”

“The board of directors annually evaluates the Executive Director and approves compensation. Other key employees are evaluated by the Executive Director and compensation is based on industry standards, education, supervisory level and position.”
