Activity 2

Client services - the center provided 72,695 services to meet basic needs of our families. Our back to school event provided 1,452 children with school supplies, clothing, haircuts and more to help prepare them to return to school with pride and confidence. We enrolled 87 families in the calfresh program, provided 201 nights of emergency shelter with motel vouchers, linked families to permanent housing through move in assistance, eviction prevention, and referral to other agencies. Information and referrals connected 1,656 clients to additional and needed services.

Activity 3

Health services - the center provided children with 510 dental screenings and 274 vision screenings. The mobile dental clinic administered comprehensive dental treatment for 107 children including 3,011 individual procedures. Eye exams and eyeglasses were provided for 13 adults and 12 children. Children's health connections (chc) program with 21 professional healthcare volunteers provided free health care for 23 un/underinsured children. The center enrolled 13 children and 100 families for healthy families/medi-cal coverage, administered flu vaccines to 133 clients and flu vaccine vouchers to 16 clients, provided 97 diabetes and blood pressure screenings, assisted in smoking cessation for 437 clients, and offered medical exams to 185 homeless and uninsured clients through our medical outreach program.
