Dpf's programs and accomplishments in 2018with more than 150,000 supporters, death penalty focus (dpf) is one of the world's largest organizations dedicated solely to ending capital punishment. For nearly 30 years we have worked to raise public awareness, build coalitions, and educate policy makers about the death penalty and its alternatives. Because the end of capital punishment around the world depends on leadership by the united states, and because ending capital punishment in the us depends on leadership by california, 2018 was a year in which we ran several high-profile public education and advocacy campaigns built on the foundation laid by our programs.
