IN 2020, THE WEBSITES WERE VISITED BY OVER 300,000 UNIQUE USERS.PEACE LITERACYPEACE LITERACY IS A GROWING MOVEMENT OF EDUCATORS AND CONCERNED CITIZENS WHO EMPOWER PEOPLE WITH THE TRAINING AND SKILLS NEEDED TO HEAL THE ROOT CAUSES OF OUR PROBLEMS, RATHER THAN MERELY ADDRESSING SURFACE SYMPTOMS. WE TREAT PEACE AS A LITERACY THAT NEEDS TO BE LEARNED, LIKE READING, WRITING, AND MATHEMATICS. WE OFFER EXTENSIVE CURRICULUM MODULES FOR TEACHERS AND TRAIN THEM IN THEIR EFFECTIVE USE.NAPF WORKS WITH EDUCATORS AROUND THE U.S. TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT PEACE LITERACY CURRICULUM,AND OFFERING ZOOM MEETINGS TO FURTHER NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT EDUCATION.THE PEACE POETRY CONTEST ENCOURAGES POETS TO EXPLORE AND ILLUMINATE POSITIVE VISIONS OF PEACE AND THE HUMAN SPIRIT.
