Explantion of monitoring and enforcement of conflicts: on an annual basis, delhi center reviews the conflict of interet policy contained in its by- laws with its board members. A written affirmation of compliance is obtained from each board member annually. Additionally, delhi center employees are annually required to make an acknowledgement of having reviewed and complied with both the conflict of interest policy and its code of ethics policy contained in its employee handbook. Finally delhi center has engaged an independent third party service provider to receive, monitor, and report on any ethical or workplace concerns raised by employees. Information regarding this anonymous service is communicated annually with all staff.

Line 4b - health programs: delhi center's health programs include hiv case management, support services, and client advocacy for clients who are hiv positive with the intent of moving them along the continuum of care towards medical stability with the goal of improving their quality of life. Educational wokshops, support groups, and other activities are conducted to help hiv infected as well as hiv affected clients to help them learn to cope with the disease. Additionally, two mobile health clinics provide low or no cost medical, dental, and vision services on site weekly and a caloptima case manager provides support to residents with medi-cal issues. The delhi center senior program provides a safe and comfortable haven for seniors to socialize and participate in arts and crafts classes, yoga, and bingo on a weekly basis to help improve their quality of life.

Leisure classes: a variety of classes are offered in visual and proforming arts, including ballet, piano, arts and crafts, art illustration and health and fitness, including zumba, pilates, yoga, belly dance, and martial arts conducted by contracted instructors for all ages, pre-school to seniors. Computer classes: classes for adults provided by in a variety of computer applications with a focus on enhancing employability. Esl (english as a second langiage) classes: classes for adults provided by santa ana college centennial education center based on students' abilities as determined by placement testing with a focus on enhancing employability.

Delhi center is a private, non-profit community-based organization whose mission is to advance self-sufficiency through sustainable programs in health, education, financial stability, and community engagement. Additional accomplishments include the following: community building initiative (cbi): cbi is a model developed by st. Joseph's hospital community partnership fund to work with and train residents to assess community needs, select a goal to address those needs, and take action to achieve their goals. Delhi residents are currently working to improve the perception of community safety in the neighborhood through three strategies including strengthening community connections, improving the physical environment, and reducing the presence of speeding, loitering, public intoxication, and public drinking and/or drug use in the neighborhood. Residents have been instrumental in addressing traffic concerns, loitering, drug use, graffiti, and public drunkenness by collaborating with the police department and other city officials. Information and referrals: delhi center has long been known as a resource for information and referrals for residents to connect with a wide range of social services as well as educational and job training resources. Services are provided through a large network of collaborative partners including state, county, and city agencies, other non-profits, colleges, universities, and school districts, private foundations, business organizations, and others. Volunteer opportunities: volunteers and interns are welcome at delhi center where they have many opportunities to develop job skills and to give back to their community. Volunteers have assisted by providing services in the areas of receptionist, custodian, special events, clean-up projects, after school tutoring and mentoring, senior services, and other meaningful activities. Facility rentals: the delhi center is available for special events, meetings, workshops, trainings, and other private and public functions. The center is a meeting place for organizations that provide services in the focus areas of financial stability, education, health, and community engagement.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: COMMUNITY BUILDING INITIATIVE (CBI): CBI IS A MODEL DEVELOPED BY ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FUND TO WORK WITH AND TRAIN RESIDENTS TO ASSESS COMMUNITY NEEDS, SELECT A GOAL TO ADDRESS THOSE NEEDS, AND TAKE ACTION TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN ADDRESSING TRAFFIC CONCERNS, LOITERING, DRUG USE, GRAFFITI, AND PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS BY COLLABORATING WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER CITY OFFICIALS. INFORMATION AND REFERRALS: DELHI CENTER HAS LONG BEEN KNOWN AS A RESOURCE FOR INFORMATION AND REFERRALS FOR RESIDENTS TO CONNECT WITH A WIDE RANGE OF SOCIAL SERVICES AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL AND JOB TRAINING RESOURCES. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH A LARGE NETWORK OF COLLABORATIVE PARTNERS INCLUDING STATE, COUNTY, AND CITY AGENCIES, OTHER NON-PROFITS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES, AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS, PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS, BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS, AND OTHERS. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNS ARE WELCOME AT DELHI CENTER WHERE THEY HAVE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP JOB SKILLS AND TO GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FUND TO WORK WITH AND TRAIN RESIDENTS TO ASSESS COMMUNITY NEEDS, SELECT A GOAL TO ADDRESS THOSE NEEDS, AND TAKE ACTION TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. DELHI RESIDENTS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO IMPROVE THE PERCEPTION OF COMMUNITY SAFETY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THROUGH THREE STRATEGIES INCLUDING STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, IMPROVING THE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT, AND REDUCING THE PRESENCE OF SPEEDING, LOITERING, PUBLIC INTOXICATION, AND PUBLIC DRINKING AND/OR DRUG USE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN ADDRESSING TRAFFIC CONCERNS, LOITERING, DRUG USE, GRAFFITI, AND PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS BY COLLABORATING WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER CITY OFFICIALS. INFORMATION AND REFERRALS: DELHI CENTER HAS LONG BEEN KNOWN AS A RESOURCE FOR INFORMATION AND REFERRALS FOR RESIDENTS TO CONNECT WITH A WIDE RANGE OF SOCIAL SERVICES AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL AND JOB TRAINING RESOURCES. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH A LARGE NETWORK OF COLLABORATIVE PARTNERS INCLUDING STATE, COUNTY, AND CITY AGENCIES, OTHER NON-PROFITS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES, AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS, PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS, BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS, AND OTHERS. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNS ARE WELCOME AT DELHI CENTER WHERE THEY HAVE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP JOB SKILLS AND TO GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY. VOLUNTEERS HAVE ASSISTED BY PROVIDING SERVICES IN THE AREAS OF RECEPTIONIST, CUSTODIAN, SPECIAL EVENTS, CLEAN-UP PROJECTS, AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AND MENTORING, SENIOR SERVICES, AND OTHER MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES. FACILITY RENTALS: THE DELHI CENTER IS AVAILABLE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS, MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS, TRAININGS, AND OTHER PRIVATE AND PUBLIC FUNCTIONS. THE CENTER IS A MEETING PLACE FOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES IN THE FOCUS AREAS OF FINANCIAL STABILITY, EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
