“The board's audit committee met and reviewed the form 990 prior to the next board meeting. The form 990 has been made available to all trustees prior to the board of trustees' meeting, after which the tax return will be filed.”

The board is currently in process of extending the headmaster's contract.”

(2) $25,000 of loan balance and related interest of $1,488 which was owed by christopher b. Thomas to oakwood school was forgiven on june 30, 2016. The total principal and interest of $26,488 is shown on christopher b. Thomas's 2016 form w-2 as miscellaneous taxable compensation and is included in wages. This arrangement is reviewed and approved by the executive committee of the board of trustees in accordance with the school's bylaws.”
