“Board members sign a conflict of interest disclosure form every year; the audit committee, assigned by the Board of Directors, investigates possible damaging conflicts, if any.”

“The Board of Directors, based upon its personnel committee's work, determines compensation for the Organization's Executive Director. The personnel committee reviews the employee's salary to comparable sized non-profit agencies in the bay area, comparable market-rate salaries and market-wide community action agency salaries. Upon completion of the review, the committee submits a tri-annual salary study to the Finance Committee for the annual budget which is reviewed and adopted by the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting in June of each year.”

“All governing documents, policies and financial statements are located at the Organization's administration office. All major grantors are given a copy of the financial statements and supplementary information and the independent auditor's report. Any request from the public regarding our form 990 or financial statements are referred to the administration office when the requestor is given the option to view the form 990 on the Guidestar website or review the document at our office.”

“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: The Food Services program provides meals to children of low-income working parents who attend a licensed family daycare center. In addition, this program offers basic nutritional training for provider, parent and child. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: The Energy and Housing programs provide low income Marin residents with essential funding for winter heating bill. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: The Emergency Family Needs program provides a modest financial loan or grant to families or individuals who are at risk due to an immediate cirsis in their lives. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Prosperity Partners is a collaborative of agencies and businesses providing a continuum of asset-building services to help Marin's low-to-moderate income families and individuals achieve economic stability, opportunity and upward mobility. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Marin Asian Advocary program provides help to southeast Asian immigrants and refugees become self-sufficient through a range of services.”
