We seek to provide funding for public interest litigation that will potentially benefit a large number of people, lead to significant law reform, or raise public consciousness. In the 2016/17 fiscal year, the Impact Fund disbursed a total of $249,000 in grant funding. The Impact Fund has committed more than $6 million to justice-related causes since the organizations inception.

A token registration fee is collected. In September 2016 we presented our three-day training institute in both Oakland and Los Angeles taking 20 students at each through all the phases of a mock class action. In February 2017, we presented our annual class action conference, attracting 200 practitioners from around the nation, sharing current news, developments and best practice. We also presented one-day trainings, seminars and workshops around the state of California primarily serving legal services nonprofit agencies.
