“| Other Expenses:, Amount:| NvSCA had to seek legal assistance in regards to release of documents deemed by Nv Supreme Court to be public in regards to CCW and NvSCA had to seek legal assistance in regards to expulsion of a member who may not have been qualified to be elected., $750| NvSCA purchased legislative tracking software for 2025 legislative session and the interim session of 2026 through Fast Democracy; new expenses for lobbyist hired under admin agreement expenses for lobbyist registration reimbursement and business cards, $5280| Annual dues and fees for NV Secretary of State; National Sheriffs Association and State Association of Chiefs of Police as well as outside conferences for Executive Director to maintain information and best practices., $3828| Misc expenses for storage unit, PO Box Ring Central 1-866 Survey Monkey godaddy for websites and NFP property and casualty and director and officers policies banking fees tax filing fees, $4904| NvSCA had one of its meetings in February in Boulder City Nv the meeting expenses included the meeting location expenses for the Executive Director food and beverages for members and presenters; and the presentations included updated information on Medical Assisted treatment for offenders in detentions and jails updated information on the modernization of the NV criminal justice system through DPs leadership training and the on going business related processes involving voting of the membership., $4835| NvSCA held one of its meetings in May in Reno NV in conjunction with the annual NV Peace Officer Memorial. NCJIS update and modernization information was provided information and presentation on a shooting at one of the universities in order to share best practices Zero Teen Fatalities provided information and training on program information Victim notification provided information and training on their system to include a vendor on reporting and notifications additionally NV Cannabis Compliance Board made a presentation. Additionally the business portion of the meeting included on going and continued voting of the membership, $12311| NvSCa July meetings were held in Ely NV and included training and presentations on mental health programs for communities and incarcerated folks to include a discussion on issues that rural facilities were having with access to the state mental health evaluation center; a presentation and discussion by an Assemblyman on the upcoming session and how best the association could proceed on law enforcement related topics; BLM discussed new zones and responsibilities; a discussion was held on the legislatively required draft AG model immigration policy and how AGs office was planning on moving forward with the association and regular business activities including voting., $5915| NvSCA October meeting was held in Las Vegas and included training and presentations on the NCJIS Modernization; in custody death report requirements statewide dispatcher information and possible first responder bill draft legislation in the 2025 session presentation and information on upcoming activities by the NV Cannabis compliance board discussion and information on the southern border by Wester States crisis stress debriefing; as well as presentations by corporate sponsors for the annual training conference. Regular business meeting activities included voting by members on agenda items. Expenses for this meeting were included in the annual training conference expenses, $0| 2024 annual training conference is co-hosted by the NvSCA and the NV Chapter of FBINAA. the conference expenses included banquet expenses for training rooms the trainers and presenters hotel rooms for E.D. and FBINAA Personnel speakers and presenters audio and visual related expenses electrical expenses for the exhibitor hall and the expenses for the speakers trainers. Training included topics of family trauma and wellness related to in the line of duty shootings officer and family wellness for first respond”
