Mission

To provide development and performance opportunities for youth ages 7 to 22 in the field of performing arts. Additionally, the organization strives to promote interest in performing arts throughout the world by hosting training workshops for interested students and providing expertise to industry vendors on how to best create effective products for the drum and bugle corps and color guard activities.bdpa also sponsors the operation of the diablo wind symphony for students interested in performing symphonic band music.

The training and development of students ages 7 to 22 in the field of performing arts.

THE MUSIC PERFORMANCE GROUP CONSISTS OF APPROXIMATELY 150 STUDENTS AGES 17-21. THEY PRODUCE AN ORIGINAL SHOW AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, WHICH THEY REHEARSE FOR ABOUT FIVE MONTHS. THEY THEN PERFORM THEIR SHOW PRIMARILY IN COMPETITIVE VENUES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE STUDENTS PERFORM AS MUSICIANS OR COLOR GUARD PARTICIPANTS.

THEY THEN PERFORM THEIR SHOW PRIMARILY IN COMPETITIVE VENUES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE STUDENT PERFORM AS MUSICIANS OR COLOR GUARD PARTICIPANTS.

FROM INTENSE MULTI-DAY SKILLS CAMPS TO INSTRUMENT-SPECIFIC CLINICS AND MASTER CLASSES, PARTICIPANTS ARE ABLE TO STUDY IN A FOCUSED AND ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT THAT INCLUDES PERFORMING ALONGSIDE THE MEMBERS OF TODAY'S TOP DRUM CORPS. THE SYSTEM BLUE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,000 STUDENTS AROUND THE UNITED STATES.
