The policy is monitored through an annual disclosure statement completed by the trustees, officers, and key employees, and all are required to sign the conflict policy annually. The monitoring of the policy for trustees is handled by the chair of the committee on trustees, and for officers and key employees by the head of school.

The school's endowment consists of approximately 7 individual funds established for a variety of purposes. As required by gaap, net assets associated with endowment funds are classified and reported based on the existence or absence of donor-imposed restrictions.

PART X, LINE 2:

The school is a qualified school exempt from federal income and california franchise taxes under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and 23701(d) of the california revenue and taxation code, respectively. The school has evaluated its current tax positions and has concluded that as of june 30, 2015, the school does not have any significant uncertain tax positions for which a reserve would be necessary.
