“Reflections program - under this program we provide proactive, targeted support for youth who are identified as having disciplinary issues. The goal is to keep students caught up on school work and to support them in addressing their behavior issues. Reflections promotes a student's right to equal access to education and is committed to fair policies that develop the framework for appropriate student. The most significant distinction of reflections from existing approaches to disciplinary problems is the inclusion of a school system analysis as well as a student level intervention. Reflections engages schools in a self-assessment component to examine policies or procedures that may inadvertently lead to biased patterns of disciplinary action for students of color and/or economically disadvantaged students.
