Major Activities

Activity 2

Educate and mobilize american churches, christian organizations and individuals to establish and develop fruitful partnerships with latvian churches and christian organizations. We have developed short-term and continuous partnerships with 97 american churches/organizations in 15 states. Our staff speak to more than 3,000 people per year at these churches and at other special events. We are continually educating, encouraging, motivating and helping american partners to increase their effectiveness in their efforts in latvia. The areas of our influence extend to children, youth, orphan care, camps, retreats, conferences, pastoral training, outreach events, art camps, concerts, humanitarian aid, construction and dental care.

Activity 3

Leadership development activities performed with latvian organizations with whom we partner: partners association latvia, baltic pastoral institute, latvian biblical center, atradums publishing, eagles wings camp, celebrate recovery latvia, and latvian evangelical alliance. We organize and conduct several major events each year for pastors, cross cultural ministry workers, and professional women. Our president, charles kelley teaches bible and theology at baltic pastoral institute and he also recruits international specialists to teach on topics where we cannot find qualified latvians to teach. This impacts some 70 students, many of whom will be future pastors. We assist in the translation and publishing of numerous books that we feel would add value to latvian life, churches and society.
