Major Activities

Activity 2

Educational and mobilizational activities with american churches, organizations and individuals helping them to establish and develop partnerships with latvian churches and organizations. We have developed short-term and continuous partnerships with 84 american churches in fifteen states. Our staff speak to over 3,000 people a year at these churches and other special events. We work with these partnering churches and organizations to increase the effectiveness of their work in latvia. This extends to children and youth ministries, camps, retreats, pastoral training, outreach events, humanitarian aid, construction, and dental missions.

Activity 3

Leadership development activities performed with latvian organizations with whom we partner: (partners foundation, baltic pastoral institute (bpi), and atradums publishing house). Our work with the partners foundation includes several leadership development events: a spiritial development retreat and mission days which help latvians be more effective in local and global ministry. Our president, rev. Charles kelley, teaches bible & theology and recruits western specialists to serve as guest lecturers at baltic pastoral institute (bpi). This impacts 60 pastoral students. We work closely with atradums publishing house to translate and produce select educational books to help accomplish our mission. Over the past 7 years we have helped produce 14 books with average print runs of 1,000 copies per book and 25 training videos.
