Preserve the material and intellectual culture of benton county, oregon, by acquiring and caring for significant collections that illustrate and interpret the history of the area and its relationship to the world; enriching people's lives through exhibitions and educational programs.

All board members are to read the conflict of interest statement and sign off that they will comply with the statement by disclosing any potential conflict of interest situations to the board for consideration.

The salary for the executive director negotiated at the time of hiring and of subsequent performance is based on the bchs budget and salaries in comparable non-profit organizations in the geographic area. The salary for the executive director shall be approved by the bchs board of trustees based on the recommendation of the bchs personnel committee.

FORTY TWO RESEARCHERS USED THE SOCIETY'S RESEARCH LIBRARY ARCHIVE AND COLLECTIONS.
