Power a clean future ohio (pcfo) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides data-driven technical expertise and resources to ohio communities for implementing clean energy initiatives and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In 2024, through our infrastructure grant assistance program (igap), pcfo helped communities secure 290.7 million in funding, including significant projects such as the industrial heartland solar coalition's 156 million solar for all program and cuyahoga county's 129 million climate pollution reduction grant. Pcfo organization provided over 2,400 hours of technical assistance, supporting communities in developing sustainability plans and climate action frameworks. We delivered 30 grant snapshots detailing funding opportunities and enhanced our support for member communities in communicating sustainability initiatives, with emphasis on economic benefits, cost-savings, and job creation data. Through these efforts, we increased our highly engaged communities from 56% to 82% and expanded our reach to 50 member communities, representing 43% of ohio's population. A key achievement was the launch of our community choice aggregation toolkit to facilitate clean energy program implementation at the local level.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0POWER A CLEAN FUTURE OHIO (PCFO) IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES DATA-DRIVEN TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND RESOURCES TO OHIO COMMUNITIES FOR IMPLEMENTING CLEAN ENERGY INITIATIVES AND REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS. IN 2024, THROUGH OUR INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (IGAP), PCFO HELPED COMMUNITIES SECURE 290.7 MILLION IN FUNDING, INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS SUCH AS THE INDUSTRIAL HEARTLAND SOLAR COALITION'S 156 MILLION SOLAR FOR ALL PROGRAM AND CUYAHOGA COUNTY'S 129 MILLION CLIMATE POLLUTION REDUCTION GRANT. PCFO ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OVER 2,400 HOURS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORTING COMMUNITIES IN DEVELOPING SUSTAINABILITY PLANS AND CLIMATE ACTION FRAMEWORKS. WE DELIVERED 30 GRANT SNAPSHOTS DETAILING FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES AND ENHANCED OUR SUPPORT FOR MEMBER COMMUNITIES IN COMMUNICATING SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES, WITH EMPHASIS ON ECONOMIC BENEFITS, COST-SAVINGS, AND JOB CREATION DATA. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, WE INCREASED OUR HIGHLY ENGAGED COMMUNITIES FROM 56% TO 82% AND EXPANDED OUR REACH TO 50 MEMBER COMMUNITIES, REPRESENTING 43% OF OHIO'S POPULATION. A KEY ACHIEVEMENT WAS THE LAUNCH OF OUR COMMUNITY CHOICE AGGREGATION TOOLKIT TO FACILITATE CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.
