IRS990/Desc0Behind the Badge Foundation provides comprehensive support to Washington state's law enforcement agencies, families and communities after a line of duty death or when an officer suffers a serious injury. In 2014 The Foundation assisted with one Line of Duty Death. No public funds can be used for the officer's Memorial Service. The Foundation donates to each line of duty death memorial - offsetting the costs of the memorial. The Foundation also provides support and assistance to survivors and families of those officers killed in the line of duty and to catastrophically injured officers.
