“The Organization created the following charters: Advisory Team, Board of Directors, Budget & Finance Committee, Chair of the Board, Emeritus Council, Endowment Committee, Governance & Board Development, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Organization updated its Anti-discrimination and Anti-harrassment Policy and created a Statement of Diversity and Inclusion. The Organization updated its Board, Committee, Circle and Staff Practices and updated its Bylaws to reflect the above changes.”

“The Form 990 is sent electronically to all Board members and then approved by consent agenda before filing.”

“Each Board member must submit an annual questionnaire regarding any possible conflicts of interest.”

“The Governance & Board Development Committee develops and improves Bellevue LifeSpring policies and governing documents, leads Board recruitment and development and evaluates Board performance and leads the performance evaluation process of the Executive Director. The Committee annually initiates a Board self-assessment survey and provides the results to the Board Chair and Advisory Team. The Governance & Board Development Committee is comprised of a Compensation Sub-Committee that performs an Executive Director market-based salary comparison, not less than every three years, and provides recommendations to the Advisory Committee and Board.”

“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE:Emergency Assistance: Keeps kids stable and in their homes by providing food and basic needs, eviction prevention and move-in assistance for families in crisis. In 2020, we allowed families to receive assistance with up to three months of rent due to the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. For the year ended June 30, 2020, 117 families received food and basic needs from our pantry and we provided 185 payments for 145 families facing homelessness.Holiday Adopt-A-Family: Matches families in need with sponsors who provide food and gifts for Christmas. For the year ended June 30, 2020, 626 children were served.”
