“An annual compilation fo the financial portion of the pantry records is performed by a cpa. The compilation for 2020 will be performed in may 2021. Previous compiliations are available at the pantry office.”
“Because of covid restrictions there wer no face-to-face board meetings in 2021. The draft 990 was scanned and emailed to all board members for review and comment.”
“No board members are compensated. Staring wages and increases for the paid employees are reviewed and approved by the full board. In 2020, the pantry had four full time paid employees and three part time paid employees. The pantry had approximately 25 volunteers, including the board members. The volunteers come into the pantry at designated times to fill shopping carts for the clients.”

Beginning in 2021, they will also be sotred in the cloud in electronic format. Personnnel and client infomration is stored at the pantry office in locked filing cabinets.”

“The pantry board meets a minimum of 9 times a year. Minutes are taken and published for each meeeting. The treasurer prepares a treasurer's report for every month of the year. The minutes and treasurer's report are distributed to all board members and preserved by the treasurer and the pantry office. Beginning in 2021 these documents will be in pdf format and distributed and stored electronically to the board members and the cloud. Board members are assinged specific ares of responsiblity such as treasurer, maintenance, inventory, or volunteer coordinator. The only sub-committee is the executive committe made up of the president, vie-president and treasurer. The managing director of the pantry (a paid positiion)keeps all client and incoming and outgoing food records and each month prepares a cumulative summary for the board.”

This money was used for the designated purposes, and the loan has been forgiven.the pantry received a cdbg grant to buy a new van. The grant was for $38,523 the van cost $37,373 leaving $1,150 which will be sued to wrap the van in spring of 2021.”

CLIENTS ARE COUNTED EACH TIME THETY RECEIVE FOOD SO THE ACTUAL NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS IS LESS THAN THE NUMBER REPORTED. EACH ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY CAN RECEIVED FOOD ONCE A MONTH. OTHER INHDIVIDUALS HELPED WERE PART OF GROUPS SUCH AS THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB, THE ACTS VI SOUP KITCHEN, THE SENIOR CENTER AND OTHER FOOD PANTRY'S. THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOTALS ABOVE. |
