“Line 28:We produced 38 mentoring relationships. Each mentor meets with the youth weekly (or less often, depending on how long they have been together and availability) to do a fun activity, help with homework or whatever is needed in their life. We also held 8 Big Events during the year to help promote our mentorships. Provided monthly events were held at places such as UofA Mentor day at football game, Annual Lake Patagonia fishing trip, Tucson Rodeo, Community Service Canned food drive, Save Our Kids Breakfast, Easter Basket Assembly community service, UofA Gymnastics Meet and Tahona Chul Holiday Party, to bring our Mentors and Youth together for fellowship and a new life experience. Presented the program to the following with the intent to recruit mentors: Davis Monthon Air Force Base, Calvary Mens Breakfast, San Xavier Kiwanis Club, Marana Police Department, Tucson Rotary Club, Green Valley Lions Club, Continental School Faculty, Alive Church, Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, First Southern Baptist, Missions Fair, U of AZ Track and Cross Country Team, and U of AZ Mens Golf Team.”
