In 2023, Warriors Foundation raised money to support Warriors for High Quality Schools' as well as CAMP's purchase of screen print supplies and materials and their creation of curriculum for fashion design courses, incorporating screen printing, entrepreneurship and promotion of art expression. At least one student and one adult learned how to apply logos to garments using screen prints and paint mixing techniques. The high school student was inspired by the process and arranged to have his own screen printing set up to create clothing from his home. He continues to create different color attire for various organizations, including Lions Den, Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, and other organizations and events.$1,500-
Warriors for High Quality Schools was founded in 2017 to support research and advocacy for racial justice, equity, and equality forunder-served students in the Denver Public Schools (DPS) system. Since 2017, Warriors for High Quality have worked with other community members and organizations to combat and dismantle institutional racism, while creating new pathways of excellence, within DPS and beyond. Warriors for High Quality Schools also supports the Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, an HBCU-style high school it created in support of its mission. Warriors Foundation supported the efforts of Warriors for High Quality Schools, Inc., Creating A Major Plan, Inc d/b/a CAMP, and other community organizations in planning, organizing, fundraising, and donating to a very successful Toy Drive hosted at Robert F. Smith STEAMAcademy in December 2022. Hundreds of community members came to the event, enjoyed treats and arts/crafts, received free toys from and took photographs with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause and their elves. Warriors Foundation received donations and provided funds for the Toy Drive throughout 2022 into January 2023.$1,000-
