Applicant is empowering and engaging people around the world in order to respond to this pandemic and the issues it has exposed by providing the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework to allow a network of volunteers to collaborate to solve these and other challenges. Applicant has built a network of volunteers who are collaborating via applicant's slack group. This network is concentrated in the united states but has members in countries throughout the world. Applicant is responding to the shortage of resources and equipment needed to keep people healthy during the pandemic by providing assistance to volunteers who are creating novel solutions to meet these needs, and by providing project management standards and oversight, and an open-source legal, contractual, and licensing framework, to ensure that the work of applicant's volunteer network translates into active supply chains providing desperately needed equipment to health care providers and patients.
