“Offcenter's mission is to promote positive self-identity and resilience through art making by providing a safe environment for creative social interaction with an emphasis on enhancing the lives of those most marginalized in our community. Offcenter seeks to build community through regular participation in art making and creative dialog among people of socially and economically diverse backgrounds.”

“In our programs. $33,062 worth of services were provided by instructors, performers, coordinators and other professionals. Americorps provided $3,400 of administrative/planning/coordinatiion services. We received a rent discount of $7,200 from a generous benefactor and $963 worth of donated publicity. Studio programs include 26 hours of free open art studio including materials, 6 weekly free art skill building workshops, an art sales shop available to participating artists which generates an average of $10,000 in sales each year and 6-8 open, community, non-juried art exhibits that provide opportunities for artists to engage the broader community.”

“45-90 children. Also, the production of a one day fold art festival known as "we art the people" which attracts between 1800-3000 people and features a giant puppet parade, about 90 local folk art vendors, musical and dance performances and a large art making canopy where children and families can make art throughout the day. In total offcenter served 4100 people in 2014 with the help of over 100 volunteers.”
