Project White Butterfly was created to address the opioid addiction problems in our society. Funds raised will be deployed to deliver a message of hope and provide services to those facing addiction.

| Annual Holiday Giving Program: Meals and gifts for residents in recovery centers in the local community as a message of hope and caring. | - | $1,475 |
| Outreach Community Program: Since 2019, using low-threshold care methods, a true understanding of the lifestyles in active use, and a personal approach, Project White Butterfly has worked to connect people who use drugs, and community members, to services and resources. We meet people exactly where they are, both geographically and mentally, on the streets of the community to introduce resources for healthier choices they can make in their lives and their community. We provide tangible resources and education, share information for services they can utilize, and create an environment where they feel safe to share their unique story. We aim to serve all persons who struggle with substance use disorder from all races and ethnicities, various socioeconomic classes, and sexual orientation backgrounds. We serve people who do not feel comfortable with reaching out to large organizations and government entities.Impact Since March 2021, through Preventative Community Outreach, we have connected over 220 individuals with substance use disorder to treatment, services, and resources for harm reduction and recovery. In addition to people with SUD, we have interacted with over 4,500 additional individuals to provide education about the toxicity of drugs in our community, signs of overdose and how to administer Naloxone, services available to individuals with SUD, and support for others who have been affected by the opioid epidemic. April 2021 April 2023 we brought resources and assisted in connecting people to services through 351 preventative community engagement events throughout Cuyahoga County, targeting areas with high overdose rates and known drug activity As of October 2022, we have distributed 4,651 naloxone kits We have received 53 reported overdose reversals using naloxone distributed by Project White Butterfly As of April 2023, over 45,000 Project White Butterfly cards have been distributed in Cuyahoga County and more than 10,000 outside the county: to 29 states and as far as London, England, and The Netherlands. We have created a walk-through gallery called "Dispelling Stigma" that presents statistics, science, and real-life stories of people with SUD, to be displayed at libraries, the Cuyahoga County Justice Center, additional high schools, and YMCA locations. Community Safe Space Meeting was created in January 2022. Project White Butterfly understands that substance use not only affects the person who is using, it ripples into the lives of the people around them, thus, we created this meeting so those in the ripple of someones substance use can find strength and comfort in knowing they are not alone on their journey of loving, and wanting to help, people who use drugs. | - | - |
