To impact the community by offering quality compassionate services that promote the upliftment and humanity of the most vulnerable members of society.catalyst for change is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in madison, wisconsin. Our team is dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals experiencing homelessness by creating meaningful connections, offering trauma-informed clinical interventions, and utilizing harm reduction methods to enhance their wellbeing. We aim to revamp homeless services in dane county by designing and implementing out-of-the-box, creative solutions to reduce and ultimately end homelessness.

Membership is open to any person who shares the vision of cfc. Members may include, but are not limited to, representatives of service and housing providers, healthcare providers, government officials, developers, public safety staff, landlords, funders, advocates, and persons with lived experience of homelessness.

During 2024 the organization undertook two new programs: seasonal overflow family shelter and recovery voucher grant. Seasonal overflow family shelter - services mainly related to basic needs, community resources that include housing, employment, and behavioral health support under seasonal hotel program are rendered to households with children sleeping outdoors during the colder months.
