Brooklyn communities collaborative (bcc)'s mission is to create a brooklyn where all communities are healthy, economically sound, culturally vibrant, and civically engaged.
Vision: a brooklyn where all coimmunities are healthy, economically sound, culturally vibrant, and civically engaged. Mission: brooklyn communities collaborative (bcc) promotes health equity in brooklyn neighborhoods. Working across silos, bcc empowers communities and engages partners to develop and implement innovative strategies that address complex systemic challenges. Bcc advances this mission through: research - bcc is driven by participatory action research (par), engaging community members in identifying needs and solutions, to directly inform priorities and programs. Convening - a trusted intermediary, bcc mobilizes a strategic network of partners, all working towards a common goal of health and wealth equity. Incubation - bcc incubates and advances multi-sector initiatives to eliminate inequities in life expectancy and improve quality of life. Priorities: first accomplishment.
