“Workshops and forums in february, the graduate business curriculum roundtable launched its first in-person, faculty workshop. The workshop was entitled, inclusive excellence in graduate business curriculum: taking it to the next level which took place from february 23-24, 2023, at the tcu neeley school of business. We were pleased to have over 40 attendees from as far away as england in attendance. The graduate business curriculum roundtable served in an advisory capacity and delivered content for breakout sessions for the annual leadership conference in partnership with the graduate management admission council (gmac) in january 2023. This is an ongoing partnership. To expand its reach the gbcr maintains partnerships with gmac, executive mba council, forte, part-time mba affiliate group, the association to advance collegiate schools of business, leaders of experiential project-based education, mba career services council and the european foundation for management development.”

“Research three major research surveys were also completed in conjunction with our events, to provide our members with increased insight into graduate management curriculum issues. The first and largest was our bi-annual curriculum benchmarking survey, for which 99 business schools responded to the online survey between february 1 and march 21, 2023, and provided detailed curriculum data for 207 graduate business programs. In the fall of 2023, we delivered generative artificial intelligence (ai): a survey of business school faculty and professionals. Sixty-eight business schools, represented by 72 faculty and professionals who contributed to our investigation of generative ai and the business school curriculum. As part of our 2023 symposium we partnered with the pmba/omba consortium to deliver a market research survey on the state of the part-time and online mba programs, which was the largest in their history. Not only was our research positively received by our membership but received strong media coverage.”
