“Symposium in 2024, the graduate business curriculum roundtable (roundtable) continued to deliver their annual curricular innovation symposium, their premiere annual event, in partnership with the pmba/omba consortium at the questrom school of management at boston university from october 15-18, 2024. As part of this partnership, the roundtable takes on primary responsibility for all marketing, administration and delivery of content for the event. The symposium's theme, the power of business for good in an uncertain world: the role of graduate business education, attracted over 250 participants consisting of member and non-member schools along with our affiliate sponsors. At one point we had over 50 potential attendees on a waitlist, and would have had more attendees if it were not for space limitations at boston university.”

“Workshops and forums prior to our 2024 symposium, the roundtable delivered its workshop, empowering business education: integrative experiential learning workshop on october 15, 2024 at boston university's questrom school of management. We had 29 registrants attend the workshop. The graduate business curriculum roundtable served in an advisory capacity and delivered content for breakout sessions for the annual leadership conference in partnership with the graduate management admission council (gmac) in january 2024. This is an ongoing partnership. To expand its reach the roundtable maintains partnerships with gmac, executive mba council, forte, part-time mba affiliate group, the association to advance collegiate schools of business, leaders of experiential project-based education, mba career services council and the european foundation for management development.”

“Research initiatives in 2024, the roundtable was active with four major research initiatives. In early 2024, the roundtable completed a membership survey with over 60 respondents providing insightful data on current and future programming. The second research initiative was around the topic of curriculum review and management. This research began with a survey of over 120 business schools on their curriculum review processes, which was then followed by 33 in-person interviews completed by our partner, hardcastle & associates, leading to the extremely well-received report, being the changemaker: successfully navigating mba design improvements and innovation. In the fall, as part of the 2024 symposium the roundtable supported the annual state of the pmba/omba industry survey with results being delivered at the symposium. Finally in november, we launched our biennial curriculum benchmarking survey which will release results in the spring of 2025.”

“Membership and mentor programs the roundtable continued to expand its membership engagement and professional development opportunities. We relaunched our peer mentor program with a partnership with mentor collective providing mentorship programing for over 50 participants. The roundtable delivered 9 webinars with over 400 attendees and launched its first membership virtual learning community around the topic of ai in the business school curriculum.”
