Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The organization's mission is to provide visionary economic development leadership, civic involvement and positive business advocacy in a non-partisan and collaborative manner to continuously improve the region's economy and high quality living standard. The mission is achieved through local, regional and global business retention, expansion and attraction strategies; investment in modern transportation and other infrastructures; and promotion of public-private partnerships and public policy advocacy.

Major Activities

Activity 2
Works closely with cities, counties, other economic development organizations, and the colorado office of economic development and international trade to facilitate business location and expansion in the south metro denver region. Additionally, creating an environment that is business-friendly by keeping the cost of doing business low, advocating for fees appropriate only to support the impact of the business and residential community they serve, and the development of infrastructure to keep pace with growth. Additionally, participated in and advocated for public policy in the areas of energy, education, healthcare/insurance, housing and water.

Activities necessary for the lobbying of issues effecting businesses in the south i-25 corridor.
