See Schedule O.Education and Public Programs: In 2011 Denver Botanic Gardens' Education programs reached over 34,000 children, delivering hands-on, standards-based lessons and experiences. More than 25,000 school children were served through over 700 school programs, and 29.5% of these programs were delivered through the aid of the In Full Bloom scholarship program. Denver Botanic Gardens expanded class and program offerings for adults, reaching an increased audience of over 7,000 registrants. The Botanical Art & Illustration program served nearly 1,200 registrants, and the Rocky Mountain Gardening certificate served over 900. Over 1,700 visitors to the Gardens enjoyed guided tours, including the Alan Houser Native Roots, Modern Form exhibition and tours as part of the Bonfils-Stanton Series.The Gardens continues to experience high levels of attendance with more than 801,000 visitors at its three facilities in 2011.

See Schedule O.Attendance at Denver Gardens at Chatfield exceeded 100,000 for the third year in a row in 2011. Fall/Winter public events (Corn Maze,Pumpkin Festival, and the Trail of Lights) attracted more than 67,000 people. Nearly 55,000 visited the winter Blossoms of Light display at the York Street location. The summer concert series remained a big draw bringing nearly 30,000 music fans to both locations. The Community Supporting Agriculture Program attracted 155 subscribers while donating 4,188 pounds of produce to a variety of worthy causes in the Denver Metro area. Total amount of produce grown in 2011 was 45,009 pounds. Membership Services enjoyed a year of stable and continued support from it's membership, ending 2011 with 27,092 member households. The number of members at the Family level increased by 2,000 over 2010 levels, reflecting the obvious enjoyment of the Mordecai Children's Garden which opened in 2010. Always an engaged partner with the surrounding community, the Gardens donated 326 memberships to non-profit organizations to facilitate an even wider opportunity for access to the Gardens. Marketing and the Shop at the Gardens: The Shop at the Gardens opened in 2009, featuring products that are aligned with the Gardens'core value of sustainability. Sales at the Shop continued to increase year-over-year, on an annualized basis, in 2011. On the marketing side in support of the Gardens' core values of diversity and relevance, efforts were stepped up to reach a broader audience with varied messages. The Gardens' website (www.botanicgardens.org) experienced a record 3.12 million page views. Public relations efforts resulted in the Gardens being referenced in more than 2,500 articles.
