“Each month, the organization awards 1000 to a community member to pursue a creative venture. The organization funded 10 individuals to run projects in 2021. These projects included a mix of justice and equity initiatives, artistic efforts and creative community infrastructure.”

“The goal of the gallery is to expose the community to art and artists that they might not otherwise connect with by attaching our gallery alongside our primary event space. We re-embraced first fridays in summer 2021 and expanded our programming partnerships to include local arts and culture individuals and organizations as leaders. We hosted a regional gathering of arts and community leaders from across the mid-atlantic called the creative communities convening in november 2021.”
