Mission

Launch Academy educates pre kindergarten students in life skills, kindergarten curriculum and social skills to prepare these students for entrance to public schools with an emphasis on good character skills.

Launch Academy performs educational services primarily for pre kindergarten and kindergarten students preparing them for public schools. Launch also provides tutoring services for elementary students.

IRS990/Desc0Launch began program operations as a nonprofit in the beginning of the school year in August 2019. Launch began the school year with 64 students attending Monday thru Thursday with a morning and afternoon session. Students are schooled in letter recognition, phonemic sounds, reading readiness skills, writing, formal sentence structure, rhyming, number awareness, counting, money recognition, telling time, shapes recognition of colors, site works recognition, geometric shapes, basic math symbols, geography, and many life skills. Launch tests at the beginning and end of each school year to measure growth gains. Remediation is available for those students needing additional assistance. Students enter public schools with the necessary skills to succeed at their appropriate grade level. During the year Launch provided scholarships to over 12 families and maintained a kindergarten program.
