“Objectives & achievements:as one of the main attractions and landmarks of ny, the malcolm x shabazz foundation envisions the center to be a visitors destination from all over the world to celebrate the lives of malcolm x and dr. Betty shabazz, and their contributions to humanity.the foundations primary principle is the commitment on spending every dollar collected towards the cause of the mx & dr. Betty shabazz center. The foundation will also strive to raise funds to enable the malcolm x and betty shabazz center execute its short term and long term goals, by promoting the legacy of malcolm x through educational seminars, workshop and tours, and through a variety of cultural and public events in remembrance of his legacy. The foundation has spent in 2020 on the following resources and activities:- ?mx digital birthday program may 2020- ?mca fundraising program - february 2020- ?powerful impact (website and social media management)- ?vonnetta west & karl evanzz & amani orr (social media content augmentation and procurement)goals for the future:due to the pandemic, the mx center converted all programs to virtual programs. In 2021, the foundation is planning on hosting a virtual roundtable & fundraising event to continue the advancement of the mx centers vision and mission.”
