Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Booth art fund, inc. (bafi) is a georgia nonprofit corporation which will serve as a "supporting organization" for the benefit of the booth western art museum (booth museum), a program of georgia museums, inc. (an organization recognized by the internal revenue service as a public charity within the meaning of section 501(c)(3)). The primary purpose currently of the booth museum is to collect, exhibit and interpret art of the american west. Bafi shall operate for the purposes of promoting the general public's knowledge and appreciation of the arts by supporting the primary purpose of the booth museum through the acquisition, holding, maintaining, managing and loaning art and providing funds for the operation of the booth museum.
