“Primary exempt purpose: the provision of services provided by government funding (all levels) for micro/small business technical assistance, direct small business support, and climate protection/environmental justice support. This funding is designated to serve an identified demographic. Part iii, line 28: business support services: business 101/102 training (jan 2022)a series of workshops that provided business technical assistance in the form of business mindset, marketing, knowing your numbers and having a revenue plan. This training was attended by over 100 small businesses throughout seattle and the state of washington, direct financial support to 7 businesses this year. Food incubator programwe assisted in setting up a space for micro businesses for mentoring and establishing their food-based businesses with the goal of getting them into their own commercial space. In the 2022 the food incubatory was granted more funding and is using that funding to create a training plan and expand the bakery footprint for 600sqft to 1100sqft. This will enable more participants. The cac supports the green and clean technology environment by participating in solar apprenticeship programs by offering stipends. The cac is also a member of seattles green new deal board, ensuring community voice is being provided at the policy-making levels within the city, county, and state government. The cac continues to provide covid-19 small business support through remaining arpa funding.”
