“There is no possible excuse for children to go hungry. Yet it happens - every day, in every community. As a child hunger organization, ending child hunger is the prime focus, through our shared partnerships, vision, and strength, which continues to invest in and develop other childhood hunger food insecurity initiatives. Our mission is to reduce child hunger one fresh meal at a time. This doesn't mean child hunger will end today. We know what works, and we've made impressive progress for children and families within our program. But the job isn't done and won't be done until we've met that promise locally by providing fresh healthy food that children need to grow up healthy and strong.”

“Freshque foundation's prime focus is food insecurity otherwise known as hunger which is when a person lacks regular access to enough nutritious food for healthy growth and development after the school day ends for vulnerable and under-resourced populations. Children experiencing food insecurity don't know where their next meal may come from, so this is where freshque steps in to bring food and healthy eating habits for school aged children and families. In 2022 freshque was able to sponsor 22 different schools and sites with over 134,709 free after school snacks and supper meals. With the support of several different community partners and donations we continue to be able to make a huge impact within the communities we serve.”
