Mission

The charity, through takecare, a multi-year, multi-faceted national campaign, invites people to take care of their whole health - mind, body, spirit and community. The charity will educate the general public about whole health and wellness primarily through the medium of film - a series of short documentary films coupled wth a national educational public awareness campaign designed to inspire and empower the general public to actively participate in their own health and heathcare and adopt lifestyle behaviors that prevent chronic disease. To do so the charity will produce and disseminate 30-40 short documentary films (having an average length of 3-7 minutes) that further the charity's charitable and educational purposes and demonstrate how a whole health approach transforms lives. An accompanying website and social media presence will offer tools and other resources that will assist the general public in adopting lifestye behaviors that promote optimal health.

Husc's policy is to disclose or recognize income tax positions based on management's estimate of whether it is reasonable possible or probably, respectively, that a liability has been incurred for unrecognized income tax positions. As of december 31,2019, there were no uncertain tax positions that are potentially material. In addition, management is not aware of any matter which would cause husc to lose its tax-exempt status.
