“The sun valley opera was formed to provide the highest quality opera, broadway, vocal arts and education to the wood river valley through concerts, semi-staged operas, salon evenings and co-sponsorship of the met hd live screenings.”

“Sun valley opera presented five live events during calendar 2015 offering a variety of musical voices in different settings. General admission tickets to these five events were kept to reasonable price levels. In addition a live screening of the metropolitan opera was held at a local theater. Approximately 70 students were admitted free of charge to this event which included an educational lecture describing the opera being presented. Two additional opera movies were presented free of charge to the general public. Approximately 1,800 residents and visitors benefitted from the opera's various programs in the calendar year.”
