After disclosure to the board and discussion with the interested person, the board, without the presence or participation of the interested person, shall consider and vote on whether a conflict of interest exists.”

“4. With support from the orchid amplify change, arrow has effective established the asia network to end fgm/c and continues that work. Key actions in 2021 included, in conjunction with international day of zero tolerance for female genital mutilation 2021, arrow created a social media campaign featuring asia network to end fgm/c partners and fgm/c data from all over asia that was extracted from the asia network to end female genital mutilation/cutting (fgm/c) consultation report. Two 60 seconds frequently asked questions (faq) videos on fgm/c are posted to all our social media platforms. In collaboration with sahiyo voices and the yp foundation, the asia network hosted two takeover sessions on twitter to amplify works of our organisation members through the discussion of fgm/c. Asia network to fgmc, has conducted their 1st instagram live (ig live) featuring aysha hussain shihab from hope for women, maldives & member of asia network to fgmc through arrow's social media account to discuss & debunk popular myths surrounding the issue of female genital mutilation/circumcision. 5. With support from em2030 partnership, arrow is able to work on gender and data and addressing gender data gaps in the region. Key actions include amplifying the need for gender data to inform policies and progress pertaining to women and girls globally and in the region and organising data driven advocacy trainings. 6. The support from wedo has enabled arrow to support the organisational and the advocacy work at the global level, including the high-level political forum (hlff) engagements. 7. Knowledge products related webinars: arrow's afc on freedom of speech and expression and the webinar, "expressions in shackles: women's rights and free speech in the digital world" was held on february 16th, an unexpected bonus was the ability of the senior adviser to the un special rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression being able to join as a speaker, who really helped turn the webinar further into an advocacy event. Overall, with these key grant supports arrow has been able to work towards gender equality of women and girls in the asia pacific region and regions of the global south in 2021.”
