The primary purpose of CARDBoard Project is to bridge the digital gap and educate our under-resourced communities about the importance of having access to the internet and assistance navigating. We connected the digitally disconnected to opportunities services and access to self-sufficiency.

| The Virtual Resource Center services homeless and returning citizens who live in shelters or on the street. CARDBoard Project staff members and volunteers connect via a video platform and share screen with our constituents. The clients are then taken through CARDBoard Project's 10 Steps to Self-Sufficiency to identify their barriers. Once those barriers are identified CARDBoard Project connects them to the resources they need to overcome these barriers. This can include creating digital footprints connecting them to food pantries shower facilities transportation ID restoration professional clothing banking services as well as to job opportunities. CARDBoard Project's clients are homeless formerly incarcerated residents who live in digital deserts individuals earning less than 200% of federal poverty-level income unemployed underemployed and seekers of self-sufficiency. | Digital Skills Training: CARDBoard Project trains individuals through an 8-week digital training class for Microsoft Products or a 5-week digital training class for Google Suite Products.
