| (76% of Program Expenses) The Discover experience is a program designed to help mentors and mentees discover God's design and purpose for their lives. Though our reach continues to expand, it is executed and sustained by one full-time employee, the Executive Director, with the collaborative and substantial support of a wider ecosystem of volunteers and the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for leading, developing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of program recruitment and delivery, including: mentor training and support, mentee training and support, and the areas of technology, communication, and overall program stewardship. This past year, ELI served 75 mentors and mentees through the Discover Experience. To drive maximum program impact within a scalable model, the Executive Director coordinated, created, and managed ELIs a tailored deployment of technology including: of Google Office Suite, online content platform, Xinspire, and the video platform, Zoom. Each mentor had a Zoom (or other video conferencing service) and Xinspire account which allowed discover groups to connect consistently, regardless of location. This model also presented the opportunity to expand beyond Chicago or a centralized location to help more emerging leaders discover Gods design and purpose for their lives. Last year, 100% of mentee respondents names that their ELI experience helped them to discover Gods purpose for their lives. In addition, ELI also provided mentors and mentees with a strategic opportunity to go deeper through tailored leadership coaching and development this past year to support and supplement their growth process. | $0 | $79,665 |
| (24% of Program Expenses) ELI Activate Experiences include two specific programs available for alumni of the ELI Discover experience: 1) Mastermind groups and 2) working teams. Again, each are executed and sustained by one full-time employee, the Executive Director, with the collaborative and substantial support of a wider ecosystem of volunteers and the Board of Directors. This past year, ELI initiated its first Activate experiences and served 12 alumni through two Mastermind groups. To drive maximum program impact, the Executive Director coordinated and managed the implementation of twelve sessions for each group to help support alumni's continued growth and practical application related to Gods design and purpose. This program element builds on the essential learnings of the initial Discover experience of ELI. In addition, the Executive Director launched five different ELI working teams that consisted entirely of alumni volunteers. These teams included: Recruitment, Communications, Care, Events, and Training. Through the working teams, over 15 alumni were provided with practical opportunities to serve in alignment with their design and purpose in the context of leadership roles within the ELI community. Further, these individuals were also provided with specific leadership coaching and development throughout this past year as an investment in them and their work. These teams helped to initiate important aspects of the ELI community, such as the creation and refinement of content for the Discover Experience, the implementation of recruitment efforts, the planning and execution of ELI community events, and more. By intentionally supporting these initiatives, ELI continues to steward well, while extending its influence in better serving mentors, mentees, and alumni as well as increasing the number and diversity of new individuals it can serve in the years to come. The additional 28% of organizational expenses primarily fueled the planning and implementation of a major annual event.
