“Other program services 4: arogya sampada: intelehealth is addressing healthcare challenges for the kokana tribe in nashik's tribal talukas, peth and surgana. The aim is to improve health outcomes and reduce costs through mobile telemedicine apps in 30 remote villages. The initiative targets enhanced health-seeking behavior and increased awareness, envisioning sustainable improvements in healthcare access and community well-being. Arogya sampada has established a telemedicine sandbox in nashik for quality healthcare in 200+ villages. Intelehealth's design & strategy oversees the entire telemedicine value chain, fostering innovation in business model, engagement, training, technology, & policy. The project serves as a sandbox for research studies in collaboration with academic partners johns hopkins university & indian institute of technology mumbai. The project insights will enhance impact outcomes across all intelehealth projects. The initiative has made a profound impact, benefiting more than 2038 patients through 5 frontline health workers and 5 doctors (april 2022 - march 2023). Other program services 5: msf diabetes helpline: msf diabetes helpline is a pan-india toll-free service that enhances access to care for type-2 diabetes patients from low income urban communities. Its services include assisting patients to effectively manage their diabetes by offering guidance on healthy meal plans; self-monitoring of blood glucose and overall well-being. This helpline provides counselling on lifestyle modifications and encourages regular patient follow-ups. The project facilitated 1,884 consultations (april 2022 - march 2023) providing patients with access to standardized, uniform and useful information about diabetes care customized to their individual needs. Other program services 6: ekal arogya telemedicine: this project is a collaboration between the arogya foundation of india (afi) and intelehealth (ih) the ekal arogya telemedicine project is implemented in the tribal communities in assam, gujarat, jharkhand, madhya pradesh, odisha, uttar pradesh, and west bengal. This project enables microentreprenuer community health workers, also known as sevikas, who use smartphones and telemedicine kits to collect patient histories, and conduct teleconsultations with remote doctors. The sevikas counsel, screen, and follow up on the treatment plan, thus tracking patient health outcomes. They also earn income through the provision of these services using an innovative microentreprenuership approach. The project impacted over 122,565 patients through 388 health workers and 23 doctors (april 2022 march 2023). Other program services 7: other program services 8: nishtha swasthya sampark: swasthya sampark is a helpline established to assist individuals dealing with mid- and long-term effects after recovering from covid-19, following the observation that 10%-20% of such individuals were experiencing these effects. The nishtha swasthya sampark team, in collaboration with jhpiego, provided telemedicine-based health services and psychological support to discharged covid-19 patients, addressing their needs in jharkhand, madhya pradesh, and sikkim. The program has made a profound impact by facilitating 484 teleconsultations for post-covid care and delivering essential training to empower 28 doctors (april 2022 - march 2023). Other program services 9: hand in hand india telehealth: hand in hand (hih) india, in collaboration with intelehealth, introduced hand in hand india - telehealth, a telemedicine platform serving rural areas in tamil nadu, bihar, and jharkhand. These villages faced challenges in accessing quality healthcare, especially specialized services, given their reliance on agriculture and the absence of nearby health facilities. The project targets women, children, and the elderly, employing community mobilizers who conduct door-to-door visits, connecting rural communities with general practitioners or specialists.
