Therefore, the first tax return due was 05/15/2017; however, due to the confusion of the fiscal year the organization did not file an extension nor file the return within the time period. I am writing to request an abatement of penalties due to filing late for the calendar year end 2016 return. Please accept my petition for abatement of penalties owed as a first time abatement waiver. Aaf allows local brands to manufacture in arizona. Manufacturing apparel locally keeps money in the state, creates jobs, and ushers in a creative, new, sustainable, and in- demand industry.”
