The mission of STEM Education Inc is to empower children and young adults with the knowledge and resources needed to lead the world of tomorrow. By inspiring an early passion for science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, scientific experimentation and exploration of today's technology, we realize the positive effects of our programs while fostering character development and team building skills. We aim to provide students with the resources, education, and life skills that will open doors to future scholarships and lead to employment opportunities as competitive industry professionals in STEM plus Computer Science fields.
Inspiring the Next Generation Through STEM-Locally and Globally We are passionate about making STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) exciting, accessible, and impactful. Here in Colorado, we partner with schools and families to offer hands-on STEM experiences for learners from Kindergarten through high school-including creative early learning activities, weekly clubs, and advanced coding and Arduino innovation labs. Internationally, we work closely with schools in underserved communities in Kenya, helping to implement STEM and project-based learning that empowers students and educators alike. We also organize meaningful STEM travel experiences for teachers, students, and volunteers who want to make a difference through educational and humanitarian work in Kenya.

| Empowering Students Through Local STEM Programs Here in Colorado, we expanded our reach by launching weekly STEM classes for students in grades 4-12, offering hands-on learning in areas like robotics, coding, and engineering. We also ran two afterschool STEM camps for middle schoolers using LEGO Robotics Kits, sparking creativity and teamwork through real-world problem-solving. In addition, we were thrilled to restart our week-long STEM camp for the Tulalip Indian Reservation in Washington State, continuing our commitment to providing culturally respectful and engaging STEM experiences in underserved communities. Together, these programs help us plant seeds of innovation, confidence, and opportunity-right where students live and learn. | $9,358 | $9,358 |
| Promoting Global Understanding Through Educational Travel To further our goal of teaching through cultural exchange, we hosted our first-ever student group from Kenya on a journey to the United States. Their visit to Washington, D.C. was more than a tour-it was a deep dive into the history of American innovation and the power of ideas to shape the future. These students returned home inspired, with a renewed belief that Kenya, too, can lead in innovation and transformation. Looking ahead, we've established two U.S.-based teams preparing to travel to Kenya in 2025-2026. One team will partner with the Maasai community, supporting initiatives like Osiligi Odede, while the other will focus on education and prison outreach, bringing hands-on support to teachers, children, and mothers navigating life behind bars. Through these exchanges, we're building bridges of understanding, service, and shared purpose-one journey at a time. | $9,243 | $9,243 |
| What We Accomplished Last Year to Advance Our Mission In 2024, we continued to bring our mission-Inspiring the Next Generation Through STEM-Locally and Globally-to life through meaningful action and deep partnerships. Our team traveled to Kenya twice, where we launched a pilot Preschool-Kindergarten classroom at a local Kikuyu school using our custom-designed, low-cost learning materials created specifically for the Kenyan context. The classroom was designed to function with or without electricity, making it accessible and sustainable. Within just four weeks, the teacher reported her students had made more progress than in the previous five months combined. We also began negotiations to support a women's prison preschool program, where children under age 4 live with their mothers. Our goal is to provide dignity, learning, and development for these children through a specially adapted curriculum. Additionally, we partnered with CEMASTEA to deliver two trainings in Project-Based Learning (PBL), equipping teachers and students with practical, hands-on strategies to bring STEM to life. At Osiligi Odede-Beautiful Hope, we helped repair a borehole and key structures at the Maasai women's training center, restoring water access for livestock and the surrounding community. Every step brought us closer to a future where STEM is a tool for empowerment, dignity, and real change-for children, women, and communities both locally and globally. | $4,174 | $4,174 |
