“Senior management of the organization is responsible for the timely preparation of the form 990. 1 the completed form 990 will be provided to the committee responsible for finances sufficiently in advance of the filing deadline to enable a detailed and conscientious review by all members of the committee. All questions, concerns, etc. Of the board members will be addressed by the treasurer or cpa and incorporated into the form 990 as appropriate. 2 after all members of the board and the relevant committees have been appropriately addressed, senior management of the organization will file the final form 990 as required.”

“At each board and committee meeting, if there is a discussion of selecting or engaging a vendor or service provider, all in attendance are asked to recuse themselves from this discussion if there could be a perceived conflict. Annually in october, the organization reviews and discusses the conflict of interest policy and requests that each board member list and acknowledge any known conflicts.”

The board is issued the budget, including the salary adjustment, for review, comment, and approval”

SERVE AS THE FEMA REGION IX REPRESENTATIVE TO THE ASST SECRETARY OF PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE HOSPITAL PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM HPP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OFFERING INPUT ON THE HPP PLANS AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES.SERVE AS DOCUMENT REVIEWER FOR TRACIE, THE NATIONAL CLEARINGHOUSE FOR THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE. PARTICIPATED IN PLANNING FOR THE ALTERNATE CARE SITES IN THE STATE PERTAINING TO THE CRISIS STANDARDS OF CARE.”
